《白噪音》出品编号为1724026，正式发行于2018年，实体为十寸透明黑胶，限量200张，机打编码。同时也是1724唱片的首款黑胶出品。
除乐队少量自留存档外，其余拷贝已经全部售空。暂时没有再版计划。
一如名字，在拼贴、回忆、致敬等多重因素下完成的《返听》之后，《白噪音》的六首短篇消泯了开始与结束，也不太能找到明显的情绪和声音起伏，深入麻瓜这个代号的内心，尝试在尽量轻微的转换与把控间获得平静。
直到写这篇推送我才发现，无论把比较对象设定为哪一个：人届中年物理存在日常面对的庸常繁琐，还是曾经的青春摇滚乐精神，这张唱片表现出的距离感，对有兴趣更多了解麻瓜和刘洋的人，都是有益且有趣的节点。
当然，这种极度小众的类型音乐，注定不会为他带来多少关注。
我也相信他并不在乎。
因为之后是更阴暗的《灰调》。
什么时候回来？有更多起伏、激动，为流逝的时间和生命带上可以创造的色彩？应该不远。麻瓜的新唱片已经在路上了。
顺便，《白噪音》也为1724唱片摆脱大量CD积压提供了解决思路。反正实体唱片只是支持者和创造者之间的物理联系，而且不会太多。那么黑胶显然比CD更适合承担这个角色。
在发往美国作母带处理之后，麻瓜这张新唱片的整体色彩显然经历了一个逐渐低沉的过程。至少在视觉和名字上。
此前定名“二月”，封面色彩斑斓生机满溢。现在正式定名《灰调》，封套设计也被缺乏明确形态的暗系色块和线条占据。在氛围音乐方向上缓慢但是坚定的麻瓜，请抬头珍视生命中的美好吧。
目前《灰调》已经发往加拿大作母带处理，同时也在走出版审批（版号）环节。

在打样环节完成后会上线预售，鉴于此前的透明黑胶《白噪音》库存仍然不少，这次《灰调》会降低生产量，实物数量只会比预售略多一点。喜欢麻瓜和收藏的同学可以留意1724的预售信息。

和名字不同，《白噪音（White Noise）》是一张可以用宁静怡神来形容的氛围音乐唱片，你不会受到任何噪音的侵袭，如果有，那么一定来自内心。
在后工业时代，白噪音多用于情境治疗、停止婴儿哭泣，或者帮助受环境噪音污染的人重新恢复工作效率。麻瓜的第三张以此命名更像是巧合：因为对创作者的尊重而没有选择公开的红楼梦概念主题唱片《返听》之后，麻瓜创作方向继续氛围音乐尝试并逐步形成新唱片的框架，混音师听后无意的点评为这些声音带来了这个名字。
由这张唱片开始，创作者麻瓜乐队进一步坠入氛围音乐创作演绎的更深层。只不过，多年的器乐摇滚、后摇滚创作和演出经历，仍然可以在《白噪音》中找到清晰的印迹，和氛围音效相伴的，一直是电吉他制造的声线，两者以非常缓慢的节奏，交织出一幕清淡自然的声音场景。你可以认真聆听沉浸其中，也可以只作为相伴你的背景音乐，由开始至结束，或者并没有开始和结束，在循环播放中，找到让你暂时放慢节奏的那一点。

Despite the name, White Noise is an ambient album which can be described by ‘serene and pleasant’. When listening to it, you won’t be disturbed by any noise except that from your heart.
In the post-industrial age, white noise is often used to conduct psychological therapy, stop babies crying, or help people exposed to environmental noise to maintain productivity. It is really a wonderful coincidence that muggle named their third album White Noise. After their first concept album, foldback, which sampled from 87 version of TV series ‘Dream of Red Mansions’ and wasn’t publicly released out of respect for creators, muggle continued to create ambient. In this process, the frame of new album was formatting. The inspiration of this name came from the mixer’s unconscious comment on these sounds.
This record symbolizes muggle’s deeper creation in ambient. Years of Instrumental rock, post-rock creation and performance experience fused together and transformed into their new composition——White Noise. The mix of wave-like guitar lines and ambient of synthesizer is a more unified set of compositions. They fold and weave into each other, which shows broad vistas and fresh nature. You can listen to it without distractions. Of course, you can also take it as ambient soundscapes. When you loop through this music, there will be a destined moment. It strikes you to abandon the doctrine of “juggling your life” and make the alternative move into “downshifting”.
In any case, even in niche music, “White Noise” will be still a more unique choice. Therefore, muggle and label 1724 records decided to carry these sounds in the form of crystal clear vinyl limited to just 200 pieces.
